Ian Chambers is a highly respected tax specialist with extensive expertise in taxation, exchange control, and international tax law.

 

His distinguished career spans both public and private sectors, beginning with the South African Revenue Service, where he developed deep expertise in tax legislation interpretation. In the private sector, Ian held senior leadership roles, including Director at Fisher Hoffman Stride Consulting and Managing Director of their Personal Financial Planning division, followed by heading Project Finance and Structured Finance at Credit Agricole Indosuez South Africa.

 

An accomplished entrepreneur, Ian founded Chambers Pinet, specialising in tax and assurance services, and Chambers Consulting, a specialist tax advisory practice. He holds a BCom from the University of Natal and an H Dip Tax Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, complemented by professional qualifications as a Fellow of the Institute of Life and Pension Advisors and Certified Financial Planner.

 

Ian is resident in Mauritius.
