Peter is an accomplished financial technology leader with 35+ years of experience across African and UK markets.

 

His career began in 1985 at Liberty Group, where he progressed from technical roles in actuarial and IT to Divisional Director, leading the consolidation of all platforms onto a unified system for this pan-African financial services giant.

 

Peter subsequently held key operational leadership positions at Discovery Life (2007-2015), overseeing front and back-office systems for Discovery Invest and Pruprotect during a period of significant international expansion. His expertise in platform implementation led to a UK assignment with Vitality (2016-2020), where he spearheaded the launch of Vitality Invest's new investment platform.

 

Currently serving as Managing Director of UK-based Only Pets Cover Limited, Peter combines his actuarial background as a Faculty Associate with his BSc in Computer Science (Rhodes University) to drive innovation in financial services technology. His unique blend of technical and operational expertise has been instrumental in scaling operations for major insurers.
